Abstract

Exciting new musical Atmosphere bursts into life in this sky-high concert debut. Weather controller Zoneo is captivating, funny, magnetic and utterly ruthless. His extreme weather orders have created a world of haves and have-nots, while amassing him personal wealth and power. As a zealous young intake of trainees navigate the knife edge of working for Zoneo, a protest group of desperate outcasts fight for new world order. To the annoyance of Stella’s brother Ciro, childhood friends Stella and Alto are reunited at Weather Control. As they become each other’s world, Zoneo’s tyranny deals Stella a lethal blow. Ciro is forced to make a lightening choice between what he should do and what he has to do to save the life of his sister. With a spectacular genre-spanning score, an unforgettable night is forecast. Written by Miranda Walker (book and lyrics) and Michael Childs (music and lyrics).
