Abstract
Short Story published in the anthology Strangers Among Us: Tales of Underdogs and Outcasts. The piece is about a reclusive retiree who grows increasingly concerned by the conduct of a new landscaping company, whose workers appear to have ulterior motives. Among other things, the story explores issues surrounding mental health, which was the central theme of the anthology overall. A portion of the anthology's net revenue goes to support the Canadian Mental Health Association.
