Abstract
This chapter looks at practical ways physical activity can be promoted within the primary school setting. The chapter outlines elements of the Active School Framework Daly-Smith, et al., 2020) that be used to promote physical activity across several areas of school life including non-PE curricula lessons, PE lessons, active travel and family and communities.
