Abstract

Recognising the role of stakeholders in sustainable tourism strategies is critical. Sustainable tourism strategies need to embed stakeholder involvement processes. The Traffic Light Routes Framework illustrates effects of stakeholder involvement. The Green Route denotes the most desirable sustainable tourism strategy.
