Abstract

Developing movement competence is at the heart of any effective physical education curriculum and a cornerstone promoting ongoing engagement in physical activity through sport and exercise. Join us for this hybrid theory and (semi) practical session as we outline the importance of movement competence and explore our unique approach to assessing and tracking pupil development in this area through the use of our specially developed Athlete Tracker platform. Our work here has been implemented in 12 schools with over 3,000 pupils and is providing valuable insights across individuals, classes, and specific pupil groups (e.g., gender, SEND). We look forward to sharing more insights with you in the workshop.
