Abstract
A student essay for Clare Winnicott Essay Competition. A review of Critical Pedagogy by Paulo Freire and the use and importance for social work practice. The essay also looks at Open Dialogue, a treatment method of treating psychosis, which is currently being studied for use in the NHS. The essay discuss both methods use of ‘Dialogue’ and ‘Praxis’ and the impact this can have on practice.
