Abstract

This Biennial was the first to be dedicated to communication between the arts disciplines. It aimed to reflect the dialogues and interaction that have become established between the various disciplines of contemporary culture such as visual art, fashion, cinema, photography, music, theatre, architecture, design, dance, literature, and advertising. Emphasis was on communication, rather than the individual artistic disciplines themselves. There was a fully illustrated catalogue which included a CD with music from the Biennial.
