Abstract

Photographic work from the series 'Rays a Laugh' was exhibited in 'The House in the Middle', Towner Gallery, Eastbourne, 2004. This exhibition bought together a diverse selection of works that define and defy the photographic genre: the interior. Selected work concentrated on the interior as artifice, and drew on historical, archival, professional, amateur and fine art imagery. Other participators were Paul Reas, John Kippin, Jo Broughton, Dirk Wackerfuss, Anne Hardy, The Design Council Archive, the BBC Picture Library, the Collection of Chris Mullen, Protect and Survive and the Los Alamos National Library. There was a creative text by Althea Greenan. There was a fully illustrated catalogue published by Photoworks.
