Abstract

Photographic work from Billingham's series 'Rays a Laugh' was Exhibited in 'The Sleep of Reason' Norwich Gallery, 2000, curated by Gerhard Stromberg. Other participating artists included Bernd and Hilla Bacher, Thomas Joshua Cooper, Edward S Curtis, Luigi Ghirri, Jan Koster, Graham Smith, Jem Southam and Thomas Struth. There was a fully illustrated catalogue to the exhibition with an essay by Doris Rohr.
