Abstract

What procedures are adopted by contemporary painters and why? How are technologies adapted and appropriated into the methods and processes of painting? What kinds of skills do painters need? The Processes of Painting explored questions about methodologies and technologies as well as notions of expression and intention through a series of conversations with painters who teach at the UAL.
