Abstract
Este trabajo consta de cuatro partes. En la primera se define la terminologia a usar, se presenta una clasificacion de las tecnicas de simulacion y se examinan los elementos basicos de la simulacion par juegos. La segunda parte sigue con una descripcion de ciertos juegos de planeamiento y en la tercera, se consideran el contexto educativo y profesional de estos juegos y sus modelos subyacentes. Finalmente, en la cuarta parte se pone enfasis en la necesidad de nuevos estudios de investigacion y evaluacion, examinando la aplicacion de las tecnicas de simulacion a la ensenanza de casos-tipo. [This work is divided into four parts. First, key concepts are defined and the principle techniques and fundamentals of gaming are classified. There then follows a discussion of some of the mainstream games used in planning education. The third section discusses the educational and professional context for using games for training and development, and the final section looks at new avenues for investigation in this field and the linkages to case study teaching and research.]
