Abstract

The soundwork ‘Moor / Plastic’ is both a response to, and an evocation of, the ideas and themes that arise in Mike Perry’s Land / Sea projects, created from a series of interviews about the work with the artist and then combined with both field recordings and recordings of a set of improvised performances that were carried out on the Pembrokeshire coast and moorland.

Item Type: Composition
Additional Information: An audio guide and sound piece. Mike talks about his work, the Welsh landscape, and the complex issues which surround it, against a backdrop of sound collected and performed in the environment by composer Matthew Lovett.
