Abstract

Case Study report for PEGASUS: Public Ecosystem Goods And Services from land management - Unlocking the Synergies. The aim of this report is to: - Sketch out the social-ecological system (SES) associated with the Allen Valleys Landscape Partnership Scheme (AVLPS) and the broader North Pennines Area of Out-standing Natural Beauty (NPAONB). - Analyse the conditions for successful provision of Environmental and Socially Beneficial Outcomes (ESBOs) from farming and forestry in this SES.
