Abstract

This interactive classroom-based workshop explores how lifestyle sports such as parkour, skateboarding, scootering and CrossFit can be meaningfully integrated into the primary PE curriculum. Drawing on insights from doctoral research, the session will examine how these activities can enhance engagement, inclusivity, and lifelong participation in physical activity. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their current curriculum design and consider where lifestyle sports may offer new opportunities to enrich pupils’ experiences.
