Abstract

Commissioned by Play Wales, this extensive litertature review considers contemporary research into childhood studies, relevant policy studies, the relationship between playing and being well, children's play patterns and examples of interventions to support children's play. It argues for a relational capabilty approach to policy making and advocacy for children's play.
