Abstract
Fieldwork in tourism is defined as the study of tourism-related activities in a particular place or destination. It is often characterized by travel away from a home area for the purpose of research or working in a different environment or location. Fieldwork enhances the learning experience by providing unique insights that are different from those obtained in a classroom.
