Bereavement in the Arts The Grieving Parents by Käthe Kollwitz. This paper reflects on Käthe Kollwitz’s sculpture of ‘Trauerndes Ehepaar’ (the Grieving Parents) and the ways in which it offers profound insight into the experience of parental loss and grief that it portrays.
