Billingham had new photographic work Exhibited in 'Inheritance, Olympus', The Music Rooms, London (Friday 17th and Saturday 18th February 2006). 22 photographers, each professionals in their own fields of fashion, celebrity, music, sport, macro, reportage, landscape, portrait etc - were invited to make new photography with recent Olympus digital SLR cameras. The idea was to push, pull and test the new equipment. The theme of the exhibition was the evolution of the relationship between photographer + camera over the the decades and how this new epoch of photography is arguably the most populist in the history of photography All pictures at the time of exhibition were unpublished. Contributing photographers included David Bailey, Lord Lichfield, Jill Furmanovsky, Nick Danziger, Mary McCartney, Chris Bonnington, Ranulph Fiennes and Mark Humpage. There was an illustrated catalogue.
