Abstract

Photographic work from Billingham's series 'Rays a Laugh' was exhibited in 'The Citibank Private Bank Photography Prize, Royal College of Art, London, 1997, curated by Paul Wombell.Besides Billingham, other participating artists were Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Catherine Yass, Uta Barth & Matt Collishaw. There was an illustrated exhibition catalogue with texts by Richard Cork, Tessa Traeger and Paul Wombell.
