Abstract

Urban landscape photography from Billingham's series 'Black Country' was exhibited in 'Check-in Europe - Reflecting Identities in Contemporary Art', EPO, Munich, Germany, (May - July 2006), curated by Marius Babias, Beral Madra, Marketta Seppälä, Veronica Wiman and Erno Vroonen. Other participating artists included Hussein Chalayan, Asta Gröting, Lia Perjovschi, Daniel Knorr, Regina Möller, Frida Fjellman and Róza El-Hassan.
