Abstract

The Intimate Partner Homicide Timeline is based on research (in review) which looked at the chronologies of hundreds of homicides, interviews with families bereaved through homicide and public protection professionals, and the existing research and theory into domestic abuse, coercive control and stalking. The Homicide Timeline is already being used to help form domestic abuse strategies and policy, and to support risk assessments.
