Abstract
As part of a series of academic exhibitions in the Fflock gallery at the University of Wales, Newport. Artist and Designer academics were present works that reflected their research interests. The exhibition, 'Commerce, Not Conspiracy', was a reflection on an earlier work, 'Supermarket' where a shop was converted into a temporary mixed media space to explore how consumers interfaced with branding and advertising. This early PaR (Practice as Research) experiment led towards the works and inquires explored the the thesis, A Study of the Macro to Micro Process of Persuasion for Advertising in Context Towards a Meso Dominant Logic Model of Consumer Behaviour'.
