Abstract

This report presents the findings from a small-scale research project that explores the value of playwork for children, their families and the wider community in Manchester. It adds to the limited research about playwork to highlight the importance of this form of provision and inform the development of the proposed Manchester Youth and Play Trust. The full report provides details of the ways in which playwork practitioners work with children to co-create environments for playing and what happens as a consequence of this
