Abstract

The aim of this report is to investigate the different perspectives on sustainable agriculture and rural development that exist in some typical innovation networks working on different aspects of sustainable agriculture. These ‘Learning and Innovation Networks for Sustainable Agriculture’ (LINSA) operate on the principle of knowledge sharing and learning between farmers and other stakeholders and they can include farmers, consumers, NGOs, experts and local administrations, looking for alternative ways to produce food and contribute to rural sustainable development.
