Abstract

This paper suggests ways to affect attacks of Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and Data Harvesters on computer systems. It uses mainly “Living Off The Land” techniques. These techniques are applied to Microsoft Windows and Linux machines. They include, but are not restricted to, modifying IP Addresses, MAC addresses and Languages and they may affect the Mechanism of Action of any unauthorised software.
