Abstract

Where the Jungle Meets the Sea ...The World is Split in Two (2022) Emma Elliott and Susie Olczak spent a month in the Guna Yala in Panama with La Wayaka Current in 2022. Their work focuses on ecology and using their bodies to respond to the landscape. They have exhibited together at the Hardwick Gallery, Onca Arts, Tremenheere Gallery and Espacio Gallery. The duo is represented by Sedition. In 2024 this work was long-listed for the Aesthetica Art prize and was exhibited at York Art Gallery.
