Abstract

Early Photographic work of Billingham's was included in the exhibition 'Worlds in Motion. 30 Years' Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Germany (25 May - 4 August 2024) This major exhibition marked the 30th aniversary of the Kunstmuseum, Wolfsburg. It included work from the museum’s permanent collection as well as various new donations, exhibited in public for the first time. Besides Billingham, other artists included Andreas Gursky, Bruce Nauman, Cindy Sherman, Douglas Gordon, Elizabeth Peyton, Franz Ackermann, Gilbert & George, Jeff Koons, Luc Tuymans, Michel Majerus, Phyllida Barlow, Thomas Schütte, Tony Cragg and others.
