Abstract

The case study will focus on the unique care provided to a patient who has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. The care provided from the initial appointment with the general practitioner (GP) through to discharge and long-term recovery will be considered. Specific focus will be placed on the surgical care provided, incorporating an enhanced recovery programme (ERP) protocol to improve the post operative outcomes for the patient.
