The aim of this pilot study is to qualitatively determine whether patient satisfaction (PS) and quality of life (QOL) can be used to evaluate patient oncological quality of care (QOC) in a single outpatient unit. The study also examines how patients in a single oncological outpatient unit in Germany interpret the quality of care in the previous healthcare model as compared to the care provided by the new Ambulatory Specialised Care (ASC) model.
