Abstract

Billingham was invited to exhibit photographic works from the series 'Ray's a Laugh' in a solo show at 'Narnimaginaria Photography Festival: Crossing Human Landscapes', Narni, Italy, (19 October - 3 November 2024). Other exhibitions in the festival included ‘The Po River’ by Michael Kenna, ‘Good Morning, America’ by Mark Power, ‘Vitiligo’ by Rosa Mariniello, ‘Into the silence - Hermits of the third millennium’ by Carlo Bevilacqua, ‘To the left of Christ’ by Dario di Dominicis, ‘Orific Evanescences’ by Tina Salipante, Dorello Prize ‘The Cities of Umbria’ and Sator Prize 2023. A programme of events and activities were offered in various spaces of the city, including further exhibitions, photo books, meetings with photographers, live music, prize portfolio reviews, meetings, documentary screenings, debates and workshops. Billingham gave a public lecture and a seies of portfolio reviews during the festival.
